Dr. Richard B. Wilson has been practicing in Panama City since 1998. He grew up in Panama City and is a 1985 graduate of Bay High School. Dr. Wilson obtained his undergraduate degree in English literature from Emory University before completing medical school at Emory in 1993. After finishing general surgical residency at Emory University in 1998, he came home to Panama City to join his father, Dr. Ted Wilson (now retired), in surgical practice.

Dr. Wilson is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Wilson offers a broad range of general surgical services including surgery for benign and malignant diseases of the intestinal tract, breast cancer, hernias, gallbladder disease, and endocrine tumors. He performs advanced minimally invasive procedures including robotic surgery.
